Dear Stranger, dear Friend!
Let me introduce myself by sharing a little about my journey, that has led me to open Studio Mettā:

A few years ago, in 2020, I was still working in an office job as an IT and Management Consultant. Realising that I am not happy with what I am doing and where my life was going, I was facing a deep sense of emptiness inside. I had no idea what else I could be doing in my life professionally.
This was the time, when I started exploring many different hobbies and interests. I dreamed about careers as DJ, music producer, poet & copy writer, photographer, sports coach, clothing designer, painter, gardener and many other creative professions. All topics, that I explored for some time before I dropped them again and started the next thing. However, each topic brought me one step further, and I know that all of these explorations were important parts of my path.
Then in 2023 everything started to shift, when I found my passion for Traditional Thai Massage and started a Bioenergetic Therapy journey of three years. Exploring these two topics, as well as my own inner world, taught me a lot about the human body, emotions, the nervous-system and the connection between body, mind and even the spiritual/energetic realms. I knew that my path forward is to learn more and to share my experiences with the world.
Now in 2026, another three years later, I am extremely grateful for my journey of becoming a certified Traditional Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner and Psycho-Somatic Life Coach. Even the experience of being in the corporate world for 10 years taught me many skills I am benefiting from now. However, quitting my corporate job, moving to Amsterdam and opening Studio Mettā feels like a dream I didn´t know I always had.
I feel very blessed, that I can now welcome you into a world of deep relaxation and inner exploration, to share with you the skills, knowledge and experiences I have made, and support you on your own journey towards alignment and happiness.
I am looking forward to meeting you soon! Until then, read below more about my studies and experiences with Traditional Thai Yoga Massage, Somatic Coaching and Meditation.
Traditional Thai Yoga Massage
I started learning the traditional way of Thai Yoga Massage from great teachers at Sanuk Mallorca, Spain and The Sunshine Network in Chiang Mai/Lahu Village, Thailand. Since I discovered my passion for this art in 2023, I am commited to a continous learning and practice with love and dedication.
In 2026 I made another visit to Chiang Mai, Thailand where I studied NeuroThai, a gentle practice to work with the nervous system on chronic pain, and Tok Sen, which is a special form of Thai Massage using rhythmic tapping with a wooden mallet and wedge to work on the Sen Lines.
Psycho-Somatic Life Coaching
While having experienced the effects of Psycho-Somatic Therapy for many years, I saw how beneficial a continous practice of exploring one´s emotional world and nervous system states really is. I got extremely curious about the physiology of emotions, the workings of the nervous system and the mind-body connection. After self-studying various books on the topic ("Molecules of Emotion" by Candace Pert, "The Relaxation Response" by Herbert Benson, and many others) and implementing in my own life what I had learned, I started to sense a calling to follow my curiosity and interest further.
In 2025 I completed a one year education as Holistic Life Coach and Mind-Body Practitioner (which I simply call "Psycho-Somatic Life Coach" or short "Somatic Coach") at the Mind-Body-Food Institute. And the more I work and connect with my clients, the more I feel inspired to explore additional methods and perspectives.
Meditation Practice
The practice of meditation has been the fundament and one of the main drivers of my personal development and growth for years. Having ADHD, I know how difficult this practice can be, especially in the beginning. But luckily there are many different ways to meditate, and I believe there is a suitable technique for everyone. Which is good news, because a regular practice - even for five minutes a day - is making a night-and-day difference, when applying any other personal development tools or methods.
In 2026, during a visit to India, I had the profound privilege of deepening my practice alongside remarkable Indian and Tibetan teachers, whose wisdom and approach left a lasting mark on me.
